FlyFm Brought The Republic To Laundry

This month started off with a mini bang courtesy of the lovelies from FlyFm, who brought four eclectic acts-most of them never seen before here in Laundry, to the fore!

The boys from the band the Fugitives kick started the night with a rocking and rolling set that brought to mind early Bon Jovi.
Their guitarist reminded me of Lenny Kravitz, and their vocalist Steve Tyler... the asian counterpart version of course.
This of course only served to amplify my glee, as I always welcome sex appeal exuding male species to hop onto Laundry's humble stages (musical genius a pre-req of course).Hee!

Meet Uncle Hussein was up next, delivering an always immaculately tight and melodious set that concreted them as one of the more easy listening rock bands here in the Klang Valley.
Do they not vaguely sound like Muse??

And then there was the three piece hard rocking Tempered Mental, headed by frontwoman Melina.
Taking to the stage in a quiet and nondescript manner, the three then proceeded to show the crowd why Tempered Mental is loved by many!

Sometime in the middle of the night, people had begun packing themselves into Laundry by the many.
It was pretty evident who everyone had come to watch, and without a doubt, it was headlining old timers, Republic of Brickfields!
Fronted by Aru and joined by Justin and Salim on percussions and a saxaphone, they had the whole of Laundry grooving to the beats of reggae, peace, love and party time!

The many who came..

And that was it!
