This month's Moonshine...

The moonshine master brought four acts to Laundry's stage for another rocking night this month of July.

Lied opened the night with their familiar 90s rock hook. No stranger to Laundry, this band, fronted by Junk magazine's editor Adlin is fast paving a name for themselves in the local music circuit.

Next up were Mili'z. Vocalist Michelle's sugar sweet girl next door looks belied the dark and edgy depth of her vocals. Citing influences that range from acoustic folk to heavy rock, their distinctive set throbbed with emotion.

I like Meet Uncle Hussein. Made up of veterans of our beloved local music scene, these boys are straight up rock and roll. Having already been voted Best DIY 2005 by ROTTW, they did not dissapoint!

Finally, there was Stonebay. Having previously performed for one of Laundry's acoustic nights, these grunge rockers made a return, electric guitars, Pearl Jam inspired vocals and all. For the grunge purists, definitely.

All the lovely people, dressed in their pretty frocks, with lipsticked smiles...
I'm referring to the ladies of course.. the men came in all their macho glory:)
