Noite Brazileira's Hot Hot Heat!

It was a night of Brazilian music, Capoeira, Samba, Maculele and Forro!

For those of you who couldn't make it and missed out BIG TIME, these pictures will have to suffice I suppose, though it certainly does not do it justice!

The night kick started with a little maculele. There were two groups, the Malaysian and International capoeira team.
They kind of rushed to the front of the stage and started doing the original maculele..with real knives!
The fire sparks had mouths agaping each time the knives clashed. Very cool!

This was followed by some lively samba. The crowd, which consisted of a lot of smoulderingly sexy Brazilian models joined in on stage, dancing the samba.

A spectacular capoeira show was then put on. This time around (as compared to Laundry's Rainforest World Music Gathering), the boys and girls went all out! There was some heated acrobatic capoeira fight (?) off going down that drove the crowd into a frenzy.

The night ended with some samba and forro (Brazilian sexy slow dance).. once all the performances had ended, DJ Daryll let loose with some pumping latin music that kept the nights energy up all till closing time.
