Moonshine Brought the Rain

The Moonshine Master Mr. Reza Salleh out did himself this month of August.
Singer-songwriter newbie Otam and the always lovely Mia Palencia were the first two acts that started off the night.

Otam. The man with a guitar and a voice.
I was caught off guard when he started singing, as my eyes and ears could not quite pair his deep gravelly voice with the boyish looks.

As always, Mia Palencia was the melodious, commanding yet vulnerable woman child that enraptures anyone who is fortunate enough to catch her set.
For those interested, Mia helps organize The Bedroom Musician Series that aim to provide an outlet for closet musicians to step out of their bedroom comfort zones and showcase their music. Look it up!

Guess the hands..

It's the main man of the night Reza Salleh who was accompanied by a full band.
For all of you Reza fanatics, go stalk him here, here and here.

Melina on the bass looking totally badass

Last up for the night was the always hyper, riot inducing alternative rockers Hujan.
Never one to disappoint, these boys who previously performed at Laundry's Crossborders were back, bringing together with them their insanely enthusiastic fans and friends who pogo-ed Laundry into near shambles.
A sure sign of a good night.
